We’re excited to announce that Dorset’s finest The Surfin’ Birds will be launching their new album ‘All My Dreams’ on the Fuelled By Cider label in January 2018. The album is the result of a huge amount of creativity, vision and hard work from the band and cements their reputation as a band who push the boundaries and live and breathe music.
There will be an official launch gig on Friday 19th January at Dorchester Corn Exchange in conjunction with Dorchester Arts and it promises to be a big, big night. As well as the band themselves playing material from their new album, there will be high-end support from Bristol’s rapidly-rising rockabilly / soul outfit The Hawkmen and acclaimed local talent Amy Brown.
The band have also promised special guest appearances, poetry from their friend and collaborator James Askew and maybe some other surprises. This will not be an average night out in town!
Tickets are £11 / £9 concessions and on sale now from the Corn Exchange box office, online or in person:
Many of you will have enjoyed and appreciated The Surfin’ Birds at events such as The Cursus Cider & Music Festival, Outcider Festival and BroadCider over the last few summers, and we hope to see a big turnout to celebrate a local live music success.
